Pune, 18th March 2023: Sunil Tingre, the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) MLA of Wadgaon Sheri, has raised concerns about the lack of development in 34 villages that have been included in the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).

He highlighted the lack of infrastructure facilities such as water, roads, drainage, electricity systems, and parks in these villages. Tingre demanded a separate plan in the budget for the development of these villages and requested the Maharashtra state government to waive 50% of the tax until the facilities are available.
