Pune : Sex Racket Running For Lodge Busted, Two Booked
Pimpri Chinchwad 6th Oct 2023: The Pimpri Chinchwad Police have arrested one person and have booked another for allegedly running a sex racket from a lodge in Shiv Malhar Colony of Nighoje village in Khed. The police have also rescued two women in the case.
According to the complaint registered with the police, the officials of the crime branch unit of Pimpri Chinchwad had received information about the sex racket being run from the lodge. Accordingly, the police team laid a trap and Aryan Lodging and Boarding located in Nighoje village was raided. Two women who were forced into prostitution by the accused were rescued and an accused identified as Mohammad Zahid Nazir Hussain Idris (38), a resident of Pimpri was arrested in the case.
The police have also booked one more person identified as Prem Kokare in the case and a search has been launched for him. A case under relevant sections has been registered at Mahalunge MIDC Police Station and further investigation in the matter is underway.
