Pune: Sharad Pawar Discharged from Ruby Hall Clinic After Recovering from Dehydration

Pune, 25th February 2026: Veteran leader Sharad Pawar was discharged from Ruby Hall Clinic on Wednesday morning after recovering from mild dehydration, the hospital confirmed.

In an official health update, Dr. Purvez Grant, Chief Cardiologist, Chairman and Managing Trustee of Ruby Hall Clinic, said Pawar is in good health and has recovered well. “He has been discharged today in the morning. The hospital extends its best wishes for his continued well-being,” Dr. Grant stated.

Pawar was admitted to the hospital on Sunday after experiencing mild dehydration. According to the official statement issued that day, he required intravenous fluids and was kept under observation. His condition was described as stable.

The earlier statement was jointly issued by Dr. Purvez Grant and Dr. Abhijit Lodha, Consultant Physician at Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune. Doctors had then indicated that Pawar would remain admitted for monitoring before being sent home.

With his discharge, Pawar is expected to resume routine activities after adequate rest, as advised by his medical team.
