Pune: ‘Slim’ Accused Escapes Out Of Lockup Iron Bars After Policeman Went To Use Bathroom, Re-Arrested
Chakan, 21st March 2022: An accused arrested by the Chakan police station escaped from the lockup in Chakan on Monday. The accused ran away through iron fences. The accused, identified as Kunal Balu Veer and was arrested in a burglary case.
It is reported that upon learning that the accused had fled, the Chakan police conducted a search and re-arrested him within two hours. The incident took place around 7:30 am.
He was put in a lockup and was arrested in a burglary case. At around 7:30 in the morning, when the officer went to the bathroom, Kunal, who is has a slim body, managed to escape through the iron bars, and then he ran away.
Meanwhile, senior police inspector Vikas Shingare and crime police inspector Deore asked the Chakan police to give a demo of how Kunal escaped from the lockup. After that, Kunal himself showed the demonstration to the police.
