Pune: Social Organizations Endorse BJP’s Shankar Jagtap for Chinchwad Constituency

Chinchwad, 17th November 2024: Mahayuti’s Shankar Jagtap, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for the Chinchwad constituency in the upcoming Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections, has received significant support from various sections of society. Jagtap’s campaign is gaining traction, with endorsements from housing society residents, IT professionals, lawyers, doctors, traders, workers, engineers, women’s self-help groups, and youth groups, as well as numerous political and social organizations.

As the Maharashtra elections enter their final phase, Jagtap’s leadership has been widely acknowledged across the constituency. Nearly 50 social organizations have formally backed his candidacy, issuing letters of support and recognizing him as the popular choice of the Mahayuti alliance.

Jagtap also revealed that several other influential groups, including housing societies, labor-entrepreneur alliances, business associations, doctors’ and advocates’ associations, the Tata Motors Employees Union, and engineers’ organizations, have declared their support for him. The growing support base has strengthened Jagtap’s campaign, with his team aiming for a record victory margin of at least one lakh votes.
