Pimpri Chinchwad, 18th April 2024: The success story of Shubham Bhagwan Thite is an inspiring one. Shubham, son of Assistant Sub-Inspector Bhagwan Thite of the Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate, has successfully cracked the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination. This accomplishment has brought immense pride to the officers and employees of the police force.

The Thite family hails from Kendur-Pabal village in Shirur taluka, with Bhagwan Thite serving in the Pune City Police Force since 1993 and later transferring to the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate after its formation in 2018. Shubham’s father currently works in the special branch of the police force, while his mother, Vanitha, is a housewife.

Shubham’s journey to success was not an easy one. He had been preparing for the UPSC exam for six years, facing challenges such as the exam being postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite failing four times, he remained determined and continued his preparation, ultimately securing the 359th rank on his fifth attempt.

Shubham’s hard work and perseverance paid off, and his success is a testament to his dedication and the support of his family. His father’s joy at his achievement is understandable, as this accomplishment is not only a personal victory for Shubham but also a proud moment for his entire family and community.
