Pune: Soon people can rent e-bike for Rs 4 per km or Rs 450 per day

Pune, June 27, 2020: Pune Municipal Corporation’s city improvement committee has approved E-bike renting project. This project has been approved under the ‘Green Pune’ initiative. If it gets the approval of the Standing Committee and General Body of PMC, residents of Pune will soon get to rent and ride these electronic bikes for commuting within the city. This initiative was proposed by a 3-month-old company ‘V-Tro Motors Private Limited.

 

Under this project, 500 electric bikes and 500 charging stations will be made available across the city. The charging stations will be installed in different parts of the city and each main road will have minimum 1 station for charging the E-bikes. 10 bikes can be charged at a time from each station.

Rental Charges as planned by the Company are-

150 km in a day- Rs 450
1000 km in a week- Rs 1,900
4000 km in a month- Rs 3,800
