Pune: Speeding Lamborghini Hits Dog Causing His Death At FC Road, Case Registered
Pune 10th August 2023: In a tragic incident reported on the Fergusson College Road in the city, a Lamborghini car speeding recklessly hit a dog causing his death. The incident occurred at around 2 pm on Monday near Goodluck Chowk. A case has been registered against the driver with city police following a complaint by a 57-year-old woman identified as Nina Naresh Rai.
According to the complainant, at around 2 pm on Monday, the Lamborghini car, speeding down Fergusson Road, struck a dog near Goodluck Chowk with great impact, resulting in the death of the dog. After the accident, the car driver didn’t stop at the scene and continued to drive away at high speed.
Following the incident, the complainant rushed to the police station to report the matter. The police initially did not entertain the complaint. However, later a case was registered and the police initiated the legal action in the matter.
During the course of the investigation, the Deccan police have charged the accused under sections 279 (rash driving), 429 (mischief by killing or maiming animals) along with sections 11(1) and 11(A)(L) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. Further investigation is underway.”
