Bavdhan, 15th January 2023: Supriya Sule, Baramati constituency MP, was in Pune today to meet with the citizens. She heard grievances about exorbitant property tax bills, insufficient water supply, infrastructure development, and other issues.

During her stay in Bavdhan, she opened the Jyeshtha Nagrik Katta, a forum for senior citizens to talk about a range of topics. Speaking to the locals, she stated that she wants to focus more on women’s safety in 2023 while also taking action to make driving safer. Deepak Dagade, an NCP politician and deputy sarpanch from Bavdhan, planned her visit to the area.

Focusing on women’s safety, she wants to ensure that street lights are operational, CCTV cameras are set up, and other elements that contribute to a woman feeling secure when she is out. However, given the high number of reported incidents, road safety is becoming a major concern.

Sule was informed about Bavdhan residents’ complaints regarding water, garbage, and other problems. Members of the Bavdhan Citizens Forum informed her of the MSEDCL substation in Bavdhan, and she promised to look into the situation and resolve it as quickly as possible.
