Pune: Suryadatta Group To Hold ‘Kalaarogyam Yogathon 2021’ On International Yoga Day

Pune, 20th June 2021: On the occasion of 7th International Yoga day, Suryadatta Group of Institutes to hold ‘Kalaarogyam Yogathon 2021’, a rhythm of body and mind for holistic wellbeing and unique benchmarking world record event of 21st century.

This is based on artistic yoga and participants will perform on the old and patriotic songs. It will be a benchmarking of longest duration yoga through the music and nearly 100 participants will perform. We can witness a unique combination of art and fitness.

This event will happen on Monday, 21st June 2021 between 8 am to 10 am at Suryadatta’s Bavdhan campus, Pune and it will be recorded by various books of records. Experts in the field of yoga and physical fitness will come as a jury, while prominent players and Yoga Acharyas will be the chief guests. Chordia, Founder President and Chairman of Suryadatta Group of Institutes, Pune.

Prof Dr Sanjay Chordia said that, With the help of yoga, mind and body, manners, actions, restraint, positive emotions etc. are balanced. Yoga makes man one with nature. Yoga sadhana develops mental and emotional orbits along with physical exercises. Yoga is a source of art, creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, and positive thinking. Preparations for this artistic yoga based on the rhythm of the songs have been going on for a month. All teaching and non-teaching staff are enthusiastically participating in this. A total of 100 people will do yoga for two hours in a row through the presentation of art. This is going to be a world record.

‘Start Fest’ to encourage entrepreneurship: To encourage the students and staff of Suryadatta Group of Institute, those who innovate and launch their startup during the lockdown, Suryadatta Group has also organized a startup festival on Monday (June 21). About 30 startups will be screened at the fest. Various dignitaries from the fields of science, technology and entrepreneurship will be present at the fest and the best startups will be honoured.
