Pune: Swift Action by Vimantal Police Results in Recovery of Stolen Mobile Phone and Smartwatch
Pune, 18th February 2023: Two criminals who forcibly snatched a mobile phone and smartwatch from a man in front of Hotel Maratha Darbar on Ahmednagar Road were arrested by the team of Vimantal police station, Pune police.
The accused were identified as Amit Prakash Ingole, 19 years old, and Sagar Sunil Sangde, 21 years old. The stolen items were recovered from the accused at the time of their arrest.
The policemen, Yogesh Thopte and Girish Nanekar, got reliable information about the accused sitting on the Pune-Nagar road smoking a cigarette in the open ground next to the Mantri IT Park. A team under the guidance of Senior Police Inspector Vilas Sonde, the accused were arrested.
The team included Police Inspector (Crime) Sangeeta Mali, PSI Ravindra Dhaware and policemen Avinash Shewale, Sachin Kadam, Sachin Jadhav, Rupesh Todekar, Girish Nanekar, Ankush Jogdande, Nana Karche, Yogesh Thopte, and Dada Barde.
