Pune: Theft at NIBM Campus, Goods Worth Rs 1.19 Lakh Stolen from Storeroom
Kondhwa, 10th April 2026: Unidentified miscreants broke into the premises of the National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM) in Kondhwa and stole items worth over Rs 1 lakh from a storeroom, police said.
A complaint in the matter was lodged by Baliram Pawar (33), a resident of the NIBM staff quarters on NIBM Road, following which Kondhwa police registered a case against unknown persons.
According to police officials, the accused gained entry into the institute’s campus and broke open the lock of a storeroom. They allegedly made away with materials valued at around Rs 1.19 lakh.
Senior police inspector Kumar Ghadge visited the spot after the incident came to light. CCTV footage from the premises is being analysed as part of the investigation, and efforts are underway to identify and trace the accused. Further investigation is underway.
