Pune, 22nd January 2023: ‘Hindu Janakrosh Morcha’ (Hindu public outrage rally) has been organized by Sakal Hindu Samaj against the alleged atmosphere of fear among the Hindu community.

This rally is being held on the demands of strict laws prohibiting conversion and cow slaughter, their strict implementation, and the celebration of the martyrdom day of Dharmaveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj as ‘Dharmaveer Din’. The rally started from Lal Mahal at 10 am and the procession will pass through Laxmi Road to reach the memorial of Dharmaveer Sambhaji Maharaj in the Deccan area. Political parties, Hindu organizations, traders, and Ganeshotsav mandals in the city are supporting this march.

Shivendra Raje, a descendant of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, said, “This march is being held today to break the fear in the Hindu society. Such rallies have been organised in every taluka. We hope the state and central government will take note of the demands of the people.”

He added, “Protection of religion was also part of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s establishment of Swarajya. We are not against anyone, we are defending our religion. Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj is known in history as a religious hero. Therefore, I am of the opinion that this should not be questioned.”
