Pune: Three Children Of Same Family Dies After Falling Into A Pit On A Field

Pimpri, 12th June 2022: Three children fell into a pit on a farm in Ambethan and died on Tuesday (July 12). This incident has come as a shock to the families of the children. The incident took place within the limits of Mahalunge police station and police are investigating the incident further.

According to the preliminary information provided by the Police, this is a farm owned by Namdev Bhikaji Landage at Ambethan. Nearby is the house of Bhausaheb Nivruti Landage where Kishor Jogeshwar Das lives there.

 

Das’s children have died after falling into a pit in a field. The deceased have been identified as Rakesh Kishor Das (5), Rohit Kishor Das (8) and Shweta Kishor Das (4).

 

Deputy Commissioner of Police Manchak Ipper informed the media about the incident. He said rainwater had accumulated in a pit dug in a field next to the house. While playing in the water of this pit, the siblings drowned due to the unpredictability of the depth of the pit. They were then rushed to a hospital but were pronounced dead at the scene.

 

The father of the three children in this unfortunate incident is Kishor Jogeswar Das, a labourer. He lives in a rented room of Bhausaheb Nivruti Landage at Ambethan.
