Pune: Three Minors Nabbed For Stealing Bikes For Joyride, Four Two-Wheelers Seized
Wagholi, 22nd March 2022: Three minor boys have been detained for allegedly stealing two-wheelers from Chandannagar area for fun. Four two-wheelers worth Rs 1 lakh 60 thousand have been seized from them. A case has been registered against the minor thieves in this regard.
While patrolling on Monday, Lonikand police station officials came to know that three suspects were traveling on a two-wheeler in the direction of Wagholi from Kesnand Fata area. Accordingly, the investigation team including Beat Marshal Chinke and Gaikwad kept a watch on the Kesnand Road area. The three boys were caught after a brief chase. It was found that they were riding a stolen bike.
They were taken to the police station for questioning. They told police that they had stolen three two-wheelers from the Chandannagar area and one from Lonikand police area. Four two-wheelers worth Rs 1 lakh 60 thousand were seized from them.
The investigation team included DCP (Zone 4) Rohidas Pawar, Senior Police Inspector Gajanan Pawar, Inspector Sunil Tatkare supervised the investigation team which included API Nikhil Pawar, PSI Suraj Gore, ASI Mohan Walke, police personnel Sakate, Kailas Saluke, Ajit Farande, Sameer Pilane, Pandurang Mane, Amol Dhone, Balas Tanpure, Sagar Shedge, Sudhir Ahiwale, Sai Rokade and Deepak Kokare.
