Pune to Host 4 Km “Save Mula-Mutha River” Riverside Walk on December 14
Pune, 12th December 2025: Rotary District 3131, in association with Aarambh Foundation and JeevitNadi Foundation, will host a 4-kilometre Riverside Walk along the Mutha River near Panchaleshwar Temple on 14 December 2025.
The event, aimed at young enthusiasts, sportspeople, and nature lovers, will begin at 7:00 am.
The walk is part of an initiative to raise awareness about the Mula-Mutha River and encourage citizens to develop a closer connection with Pune’s riverside ecosystem. Participants will enjoy the scenic beauty of the river at sunrise, along with its rich biodiversity.
Organizers hope the event will inspire a culture of riverside walks as a way to combine fitness, adventure, and environmental stewardship.
The event is open to all residents of Pune. Interested participants are encouraged to join the walk and become part of this unique effort to promote environmental awareness and community engagement.
