Pune Travelers to Benefit from Expanded Train Coaches on Major Routes

Pune, 9th August 2023: In a significant development set to enhance passenger capacity and comfort, the following train services are all set to witness a permanent increase in the number of coaches starting August 12, 2023:
Pune-Santaragachi Express (Train No. 20821/22):
The Pune-Santaragachi Express is now slated to operate with 22 Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches, up from its previous count of 21. This expansion includes the addition of one extra coach in the 3rd AC (3A) category, contributing to a more spacious and convenient travel experience for passengers.
Pune-Howrah Express (Train No. 12221/22):
Commuters aboard the Pune-Howrah Express can anticipate an improved journey with the permanent augmentation of coaches from 19 LHB coaches to 20. This enhancement encompasses the inclusion of an additional 2nd AC (2A) coach, adding to the train’s overall capacity and ensuring a smoother voyage.
CSMT-Howrah Express (Train No. 12261/62):
In a positive stride towards facilitating seamless travel, the CSMT-Howrah Express is set to experience an upsurge in its coach count, transitioning from 19 LHB coaches to 20. This enlargement encompasses the incorporation of an extra 2nd AC (2A) coach, accentuating passenger comfort and convenience.
