Pune: Two Foreigners Arrested In Kondhwa For Selling Drugs, Cocaine Worth Rs 5.27 Lakh

Pune, 3rd July 2022: Two Tanzanian nationals were arrested by the Pune Police Crime Branch for selling drugs in the Kondhwa area.

The arrested persons have been identified as Abdullah Ramdani (46) and Rajabu Harere Salleh (47), both residents of Undri, who hail from Tanzania. In the past, a drug smuggling case was registered against Abdullah in Mumbai.

According to police, the accused had come to India on a medical visa but engaged in drug dealing here. Acting on a tip-off, they were caught near Dharmavat petrol pump in Kondhwa area. Now, an FIR has been registered against them at Kondhwa police station.

The investigation team included Police Inspector Vinayak Gaikwad, API Laxman Dhengale, and Rahul Joshi, Vishal Dalvi, Nitesh Jadhav, Yogesh Mohite.
