Pune: Two Minors Of Koyta Gang, Who Escaped From Remand Home, Caught Again

Pune, 3rd February 2023: The crime branch detained two minors of the Koyta gang who escaped from the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Udyog Kendra-run juvenile correctional facility in Yerwada. Seven minors of the Koyta gang had escaped the juvenile correctional facility in Yerwada recently. The matter was being investigated by the police.

Police Constable Namdev Renuse of Unit Two of the Crime Branch received information that two minors, who had escaped from the juvenile correctional home, were coming to the Nanded Phata area on Sinhagad Road. After that, the police team detained the two. They have been medically examined and handed over to Yerwada Police by the Crime Branch.

The action was taken under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner of Police Amol Zende, Assistant Commissioner Sunil Pawar, Senior Police Inspector Kranti Kumar Patil. The temple included Assistant Inspector Vaishali Bhosle, and Namdev Renuse, Uttam Taru, Pramod Kokane, Ganesh Thorat, Nagnath Rakh, and others. Police are still looking for the other five members.
