Pune University’s MCQ Examination Of Second Term To Be Held In July-August

Pune, 18th June 2021: Savitribai Phule Pune University’s (SPPU) First to Final Year Diploma, Degree and Post Graduate Degree second term examination is going to take place in July-August.

Mahesh Kakade, Director, Board of Examinations and Evaluation, University, has issued guidelines and instructions on how the examination will be conducted through a circular.

Examinations will be held for regular and backlog students of the second session of the academic year 2020-21 as well as external and grade improvement students. Practicals, oral, seminars, projects, dissertations, etc. of these students should be completed at the college level. These internal marks will have to be sent to the university through a computer system. As soon as the summary of the second term becomes available, it will be mandatory to send the marks immediately, the university administration has suggested.

M.E, M.Pharm, M.Ed. students, who filled the examination form for dissertation at the time of the second semester examination, the dissertation examinations will be conducted at the college level by a committee of examiners by the principal to evaluate the work done by the students. And the marks obtained in it should be sent online by August 31, Kakade clarified through a circular.

The exam will be conducted online and will have 60 multiple choice questions (MCQ). Out of these, correct answers to 50 questions will be considered. The duration of the exam will be one hour. Students will get marks through Student Profile within 48 hours after the examination. The practise exam will be conducted for three days before the commencement of the main examination, Kakade added.

Important instructions for the students:

– Detailed examination schedule will be available on the Website of Pune University

– All the information on the exam will be sent to the students via SMS and e-mail.

– Photocopy and revaluation will not be available for online examination.

– Final year final session examinations of the science branch will be held on 70% of the syllabus.

– Examinations of all other faculties will be held on a 100% syllabus.
