Pimpri, 11th March 2023: Pimpri Chinchwad witnessed another incident of vehicle vandalism, with an unknown trio spreading terror by vandalizing 8 to 10 vehicles parked near Saraswati School in Chikhli around 4 am today.

The vandals, armed with knives, shattered the windows of the vehicles, causing inconvenience to the common citizens. This incident has raised doubts about the recurrence of vehicle vandalism in the city after a few months of peace.

Meanwhile, a case of assault has been registered at the Wakad police station after a ruckus at Phoenix Mall. The accused are absconding, and their faces were covered with cloth, making it challenging to identify them.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Kakasaheb Dole, stated in a press conference that the police are searching for the suspects based on CCTV footage. The police suspect that a gang is involved in the assault and are investigating a financial transaction related to the case. The name of a suspect has emerged in the investigation, and the police hope to uncover more information soon.

The recent incidents have become a cause for concern for the police, who have been working to maintain peace and order in the city. It remains to be seen whether the authorities can bring the culprits to justice and prevent the recurrence of such incidents in the future.
