Pune: Wada Collapses In Kondhwa, 11 Trapped People Rescued

Kondhwa, 14th July 2022: A Wada collapsed opposite Datta Mandir in Kondhwa Budruk today and debris fell on adjacent houses trapping six persons. They were rescued by the local residents and the Pune Fire Brigade.

Yogesh Pisal, Fireman, Pune Fire Brigade, said, “We got the information about the incident around 8:30 am and rushed to the spot for the rescue. Before we reached the spot, the other five people who were stuck were rescued by the residents.”

He added, “After reaching the spot, we rescued six people. So, a total of 11 people were rescued and are safe. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident.”
