Pune, 24th January 2026: A new early learning centre in Koregaon Park is redefining how preschools engage not only with children but also with their families. Windsor House Early Years has entered Pune’s education space with a model that goes beyond classrooms, positioning itself as a long-term support system for both young learners and parents.

Set to launch this month, Windsor House is designed as an experiential preschool and daycare that functions around the idea of a “Windsor Tribe” — a comprehensive ecosystem that brings together education, childcare and parenting support under one roof.

The founding team said the concept was shaped by the belief that the early years are a period of growth not just for children, but also for parents. “Families today need more than just a school. They need guidance, reassurance and a sense of community. That’s what the Windsor Tribe is meant to offer,” the team said.

Unlike conventional preschools, the model integrates structured daycare, regular parent connect sessions, access to child development and psychology resources, and continuous feedback on a child’s progress. The school aims to act as a partner in a family’s early parenting journey rather than simply a place children attend for a few hours a day.

On the academic side, Windsor House follows a play-based, experience-driven approach. Its curriculum draws from global early learning philosophies including Reggio Emilia and Montessori, alongside the Pennsylvania early learning framework, and is aligned with India’s National Education Policy (NEP). These ideas are implemented through practical, activity-led programmes rather than remaining theoretical.

One of the centre’s distinctive features is the introduction of “Windsor Clubs” — specialised learning tracks that help children explore interests beyond routine classroom time. These include dramatics, basic coding, life skills and the Curiosity Programme, an inquiry-led initiative that encourages children to learn by asking questions, experimenting and discovering answers on their own.

“Children learn best when they are free to explore. Our focus is on creating environments where curiosity becomes the starting point for learning,” the team said.

Everyday learning at Windsor House blends movement, storytelling, creative expression, teamwork and independent play. The aim is to ensure that concepts are absorbed through experience, not instruction alone.
The centre also caters to the needs of working parents by offering integrated preschool and daycare services with consistent caregivers, structured routines and age-appropriate care. Emotional wellbeing, safety and continuity form the backbone of daily operations.

Instead of a conventional launch ceremony, Windsor House plans to introduce itself through interactive walkthroughs and activity zones that allow parents to experience what a child’s day at the centre looks like.
As Pune continues to see a rise in young, working families, Windsor House Early Years is positioning itself as an alternative early education model — one that blends learning, care and community into a single, connected system.
