Pune: Woman Professor Dies After Being Hit By Dumper Truck
Vadgaon Budruk, 29th July 2022: A 38-year-old woman professor died after a speeding dumper truck hit her two-wheeler today in the Sinhgad Road area.
The deceased has been identified as Vrushali Tushar Thete, a resident of Vadgaon Budruk.
After the accident, the dumper driver fled from the spot. An FIR has been registered against him at Sinhgad road police station under Pune city police.
Vrushali was a professor in a college situated in Narhe. Around 9 am, she was going to college when the truck hit her bike near Shinde Maidan in Vadgaon Budruk area. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
