Pune: Women’s Club Kharadi provides free eye check-up camp and spectacles distribution
Pune, 19th March 2023: Kharadi’s Women’s Club, in partnership with Sindhi Samaj Pune and Jyotichand Bhaichand Saraf, held a free eye check-up camp and distributed spectacles at Rupi One Clinic on International Women’s Day. The clinic, run by Women’s Club Kharadi, benefited 278 women. Optician Sunil Talreja distributed the spectacles after conducting eye examinations during the camp.
Under the leadership of President Seema Tanwar, members of Women’s Club Kharadi are actively providing free services to underprivileged communities. The club regularly conducts various activities such as distributing essential commodities, providing health services, distributing sanitary pads, and organising health camps through Rupi One Clinic for the underprivileged.
Dignitaries such as President Seema Tanwar, Sindhi Samaj Pune President Adv. Harish Hemrajani, Secretary Rajesh Sahajwala, Mukulika Shah, and Supriya Kothadia from Jyotichand Bhaichand Saraf were present during the event. The camp was coordinated by a team of medical professionals, including Dr. Rishika Srivastava, Dr. Rohini Warungse, Dr. Subhadra Sinha, Parvatha Jaignesh, Monali Somani, Priya Sinha, Jayaprada Biswal, Taruna Modi, Santosh Agarwal, Madhu Sharma, Soma Srivastava, Shweta Saran, Priyanka Nadig, Dr. Jayshree Hande, Divya Naravani, Smita Kale, Dr. Anuja Reddy, and Swati Khatke.
