Pune: Worker Sets Employer’s Bike On Fire For Not Paying Salary Arrear

Chinchwad, 4th October 2021: An employee set his employer’s bike on fire over the salary issues on Sunday. Chinchwad police have arrested the accused worker in the case.

The accused worker’s name is Ankit Yadav (27) and the owner’s name is Ganesh Undre Patil. Ankit’s salary arrear was Rs 40,000.

According to police, the accused Ankit works in Ganesh Patil’s cement factory in Pimplegurav. Ankit has salary arrears and asked the owner to pay his salary many times. The owner was not giving him the salary arrear. Therefore he set the two-wheeler on fire which was given to him by the owner for work purposes.

Chinchwad police have arrested Ankit after the incident. Further investigation is going on.
