Pune: Youth Dies During Diwali Celebration Following Bursting Of ‘Atom Bomb’

Shirur, 5th November 2021: A 20-year-old youth died after being hit by metal sheet (patra) following the explosion of ‘atom bomb’ during the Diwali celebration on Thursday night. His throat was slit in the incident.

The deceased has been identified as Rohan Anil Mallav, a resident of Kachi Ali in Shirur, Pune district.

According to Shirur police, the incident took place around 10 pm on Thursday. Mallav and his friends were bursting firecrackers. An ‘atom bomb’ was burst following which a metal sheet flew and hit Mallav on the jaw. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
