Pune: Youth Shot Dead In Chikhli, Pimpri Chinchwad Police Launch Investigation
Pimpri Chinchwad, 22nd May 2023: In yet another alarming incident, unidentified assailants opened fire on a young man in broad daylight, resulting in his tragic demise in Chikhli today.
The victim, identified as Sonya Tapkir, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment. The incident occurred today (Monday) around noon.
The perpetrators, who remain at large, targeted Sonya Tapkir in a brazen act of violence before swiftly fleeing the scene. Following the shooting, the critically wounded youth was rushed to the hospital. However, despite medical efforts, he tragically passed away during treatment.
Upon receiving information about the incident, Pimpri Chinchwad police promptly arrived at the location and initiated a comprehensive investigation. They have begun the search for the assailants.
