Pune: Youth Stabs Teenage Girl Near Viman Nagar In Case Of One Sided-Love

Viman Nagar, 5th February 2022: A 17-year-old girl from Chandannagar was attacked with a knife by a 22-year-old youth for not talking to him. Police said that the case was a fallout of one sided-love.

The officials from Vimantal police station, Pune city police, have arrested the accused Dnyaneshwar Rajendra Nimbalkar (22), a resident of Bendre Building, Chandannagar Chowk. He has been charged with an attempt to murder.

The injured girl is undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

She is studying in a college. Nimbalkar had been harassing her for the last few months. He was angry because the girl refused to meet or talk to him.

According to police, the accused intercepted the girl around 4.30 pm near the Khulewadi area on Pune-Ahmednagar Road. He stabbed the girl with a knife on the stomach, back and chest.

The injured girl was rushed to the hospital. Later, police arrested the accused. Police sub inspector (PSI) Mangal Jogan is further investigating the case.
