Pune: Youths Attack Lawyer After He Asks Them To Drive Slowly
Hadapsar, 26th December 2022: An incident of attack on a lawyer by enraged youths after they were told to slow down their vehicle took place at Sade Satra Nali in Hadapsar. Hadapsar Police has registered a case in this matter.
The name of the injured lawyer is Adv Abhijit Pandurang Walunj. According to the information given by the police, Adv Abhijit Walunj was returning home after finishing his work in Shivajinagar court. He asked person who suddenly sped his vehicle to slow down. Angry at being called ‘Kid’, the youth started arguing and threatening Walunj.
After a while, he went to Walunj’s house with three others. He stood outside the house and started abusing him. The accused attacked Walunj with sharp weapons when he came out of the house. Walunj has seriously injured his hand. After attacking him, the accused fled from there.
