Pune: Youth’s Wrist Chopped For Refusing To Pay Rs 100 To Gang Of Boys

Pune, 2nd January 2023: A drunken gang attacked a young man and cut his hand over a hundred rupees in the Pashan area on Saturday midnight. When the man refused to pay Rs 100, the group attacked him with a knife.

The man’s wrist was chopped in the attack by the gang. The police have arrested two people in this case. The police have registered a case against two youngsters and two minors.

Ashutosh Arjun Mane (24), a resident of Durvankur Society, Panchavati, Pashan, has lodged a complaint at Chaturshringi Police Station. Mane’s friend Pankaj Anant Tamboli (25), a resident of Pashan, injured his wrist in the attack by the accused. In this case, Pranav Kashinath Waghmare (18), a resident of Pashan, and Gaurav Gautam Manavatkar (20), a resident of Tondechal, Sutarwadi, Pashan, have been arrested by the police. A case has been registered against two minors who were with them.

According to the police, Pankaj Tamboli and his friends are staying in the Pashan area. Tamboli is studying at an educational institution. As the restaurant was closed, Tamboli and his friends went to Sai Chowk in the Pashan area for dinner at midnight. At around 1 am, the accused demanded one hundred rupees from him. Tamboli was attacked after he refused to pay the accused. His hand was cut.

As soon as police received the information, the team from Chaturshrungi police station reached the spot. They rushed the injured to the hospital.
