Pune Zilha Parishad School Launches High-Tech Classroom for Individualized Learning

Pune, 30th April 2023: Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Vidhan Sabha Ajit Pawar inaugurated a Futuristic Classroom in Zilha Parishad School, Kanhe Phata in Maval Taluka of Pune district. The Classroom is sponsored by Mahendra Accelo.

The futuristic classroom consists of 28 computers for students and one for the teacher. The computers are connected to each other to form a Local Area Network. The students can view the content on their screens. Teachers can load tests and students can answer them at the same time. The eLearning Software has all Bal Bharthi Books.

 

“It is the first such classroom in the district and the third in the state behind Parner and Kagal. Pune Zilha Parishad proposes to interlink computer labs and convert them into such classrooms. It will help in providing individual attention to each students, students can learn at their pace and tests could be conducted with greater efficiency”, said Ayush Prasad, CEO, Pune Zilha Parishad (ZP).

 

In the results of scholarships declared yesterday, 33 of the 70 students from the school who appeared in the exam have qualified. “Maval has improved its performance as compared to last year with 1247 students qualifying the exam. The Taluka is ranked fourth. Shirur has had the best performance, followed by Khed and Haveli. Pune District has had best ever performance in these scholarship exams”, he added.

 

Pune Zilha Parishad has been promoting the use of technology to aid teachers and students. The Acharya Vinoba Bhave App is being used by 11000 teachers to report their work, share best practices and learn new padeogocic methods from other teachers. The Diksha App is being used by 1.6 lakh students and their parents to access online learning contents.

 

“Nearly half of our schools have start class infrastructure. We are committed to ensuring each child is able to read, write and do mathematics before 2025 to achieve the targets of Nipun Bharat”, Prasad informed.
