Pune: Zomato Delivery Boy Robbed By Koyta Gang, FIR Registered
Hadapsar, 28th January 2024: The notorious Koyta Gang continues to elude Pune police, with incidents reported in various parts of the city, including a recent episode in Hadapsar. A robbery committed by the gang near Annabhau Sathe library in Ramtekdi on January 26th at around 9 pm.
Delivery worker Nilesh Pandit Gaikwad (31) fell victim to the gang’s forceful tactics, losing a bag containing a hard disk, chequebook, and cash.
According to police, Gaikwad was going deliver order of a customer when the robbers intercepted him in the lane behind Dr WR Khan Urdu School. They threatened and decamped with his bag containing valuables worth Rs 5,000.
Gaikwad lodged a complaint at Wanwadi Police Station against the culprits, Karan, Vishalya, Mujja, and Shubhya. Police are further investigating the case.
