Pune’s First : “RAPID RT-PCR” Report Now In 2 Hrs At BioGenics Labs
Pune, 25th January 2022: Routine RT-PCR tests usually take 12-24 hours from sample collection till reporting, and with the current workload going up 3-5 times, reports are getting even more delayed. In cases where people need a quick report: Be it for travel or to know their own status, it is becoming even more tough to get reports in time.
Keeping in Mind the above pain points, BioGenics Labs in association with it’s technology partner Geneombio Technologies, has launched the Rapid RT-PCR tests for the people of Pune. This is a first of its kind in the city. This is also helpful for people having to travel in emergency cases .
Even for people looking for a quick diagnosis, this is a much more reliable test (99%) than the home testing kits available (50-60% accurate), and quick reports help in taking further course of action depending on the result.
These Rapid RT-PCR test reports are conducted on ICMR approved kits, and have a 99% accuracy. Moreover, these reports come with a QR code, and are valid for domestic and international travel.
