Railway Administration Took Action Against  680 Passengers For Not Wearing Mask

Pune, June 1, 2021: 680 railway passengers have been fined for not wearing face masks to prevent infection of the Covid-19 pandemic. In the month of June, Pune Railway Division has collected an amount of Rs 1.52 lakhs as fine from people without face masks. Such passengers without masks are also being given masks free of cost with receipt. This initiative of the Railways will create awareness among the passengers and they will also understand the seriousness of the pandemic.

As part of the measures to deal with the current situation due to the Covid pandemic, the Pune Railway Division requests the passengers to wear face masks in the station premises and during the train journey. Do not spit and litter at the station and in trains. Help the railway administration in maintaining cleanliness. Passengers are advised to follow all norms, SOPs related to COVID-19 in railway premises including all trains, suburban trains.
