Railway Jobs: Recruitment For 1,279 Posts of Railway Group C and 3,917 Posts of Group D To Start Soon
Gorakhpur, November 29, 2020: Employment for vacant running posts in Railways is going to start soon. This will not only make rail operations more convenient but also provide employment to the unemployed.
On December 15, the recruitment process will start for the recruitment of three categories in Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ in Railways. Examinations for the recruitment of 5,196 posts in Northeast Railway will run till June 2021. It is mandatory to follow the Corona virus protocol at the examination centres. Only a small number of candidates will be called. Railway Recruitment Board has approved the recruitment of 1,279 posts of Group ‘C’ and 3,917 posts in Group ‘D’ in the North Eastern Railway. It includes the posts of guard, clerk, trackman, pointman etc.
The Gorakhpur Railway Recruitment Board will determine the centre for online examination in the North Eastern Railway. Online test centres will be created following the rules of COVID-19. The railway board will take full responsibility for the exam. Nearly five lakh candidates will appear for the examination for the NE Railway.
Most of the recruitment will be for the posts of safety in the examinations to be held by June. For example, Trackman, Gangman, Keyman, Station Master, Loco Pilot, Guard, SSC and JE will be the most recruited positions. Most tracks are for the Maintainer. The vacant posts are 1,548 for the recruitment of Track Maintainer.
Sorting of the application form for the NE Railway has been completed and it will be available for download from the first week of December. The admit cards will also be available for download from the first week of December. The examination centres will be decided at the zonal level only. In the presence of the railway administration, the candidates will take the online test.
