Solapur Division Honours 30 Employees with Rail Seva Puraskar

Solapur, 14th February 2026: Solapur Division of Central Railway held its 70th Railway Week 2025 function on 13 February 2026 at Siddheshwar Railway Officers’ Club Auditorium Hall, Solapur, where the Divisional Railway Manager, Solapur Division, Dr Sujeet Mishra presented the Rail Seva Puraskar 2025 to recognise outstanding contributions of railway employees and units.

A total of 30 individual employees from various departments received awards for exemplary service, while nine depots were honoured with Inter-Depot Efficiency Shields for performance in operational efficiency, maintenance and service delivery. Zonal-level Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar 2025 awardees and winners of the DRM’s Cleanliness Inspection conducted on 9 February 2026 were also felicitated during the event.

Among the individual awardees, honours were conferred across departments including Accounts, General Administration, Civil Engineering, Commercial, Mechanical (C&W), Electrical (General and TRD), Medical, Operating, Personnel, Security, Signal & Telecommunications, Safety and Stores. Employees such as Amit Kumar (Accounts Assistant, Solapur), Yogesh Kumar (Station Master, Solapur), Ravi Kumar Rajpal Singh (Senior Section Engineer, Permanent Way, Solapur), Mobin I Shaikh (Train Ticket Inspector, Solapur), Shivendra Pratap Singh (Chief Nursing Supervisor, Solapur), Thakur Mukesh Kumar (Station Master, Hotgi), and Ashwani Rana (Depot Material Superintendent, Solapur) were among those recognised for their work.

Efficiency Shields were awarded to IOCL Siding, Pakni (Commercial Efficiency Shield), Wadi Yard (Operating Efficiency Shield – Best Yard), Washimbe Station (Operating Efficiency Shield – Best Station), C&W Depot Solapur (Inter Depot C&W Shield), Crew Lobby Solapur (Best Crew Booking Lobby), Railway Hospital Wadi (Medical), Electrical Maintenance Solapur (Electrical General), TRD Depot Kettur (Electrical TRD), and Tele Depot Solapur (Signal & Telecommunications).

The programme was attended by CRWWO Solapur office bearers, Additional Divisional Railway Manager Anshumali Kumar, branch officers, railway union representatives and staff of Solapur Division. The Railway Week function marked the annual recognition of staff and units for service and operational performance within the division.
