Railway Paramedical Recruitment 2024: Notification Issued, Applications Start August 17
New Delhi, 7th August 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced a major recruitment drive for 1,376 paramedical posts across various categories. The application process will commence on August 17, 2024, and candidates will be able to apply online. The last date to submit applications is September 16, 2024. Candidates are urged to check their eligibility criteria before applying to ensure they meet the necessary requirements.
The recruitment covers multiple paramedical positions, and the detailed notification is available on the official railway website www.indianrailways.gov.in. According to the notification, candidates must have completed 12th grade, a degree, or a diploma in the relevant field from a recognized institution. The age criteria vary by post, with a minimum age of 18 and a maximum age ranging from 33 to 40 years.
Candidates can only apply online for this recruitment, and no other modes of application will be accepted. Along with filling out the application form, candidates must also pay the prescribed fee. For general and OBC category candidates, the fee is ₹500, while SC/ST/ex-servicemen/PWD/transgender candidates need to pay ₹250.
To be selected, candidates must undergo a computer-based test (CBT). Those who pass the CBT will then have to clear a medical test and document verification process. Successful candidates who pass all these stages will be selected for the respective posts.
