Rain: IMD Issues Yellow Alert For 14 Districts In Maharashtra

Pune, 25th December 2021: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light to moderate rains on December 28 and 29 in some districts of Vidarbha and Marathwada in the Maharashtra state.

According to the IMD, the cyclonic conditions of Western Disturbances will be felt in Northwest India from December 26 and in Central India from December 27, which will have an effect on Northwest and Central India. As a result, light to moderate showers is expected in these parts between 27 and 29.

Due to the effect of this situation, 14 districts in the Vidarbha and Marathwada areas of the state have been given a yellow alert of rain.

‘Yellow Alert’ for these districts: Jalgaon, Aurangabad, Jalna, Parbhani, Nanded, Hingoli, Yavatmal, Amravati, Wardha, Chandrapur, Nagpur, Gondia, Gadchiroli
