Salman Khan Extends Support To ‘Jawan’ Preview, Shah Rukh Khan Returns The Love
Mumbai, 12th July 2023: After Salman Khan gave a shoutout to the Jawan preview, Shah Rukh Khan reciprocated the love. Taking to Twitter on Tuesday evening, Salman announced his plans to watch the movie on its opening day. In response, SRK expressed his gratitude and affectionately said, “First, Bhai, that’s why I showed it to you first! I appreciate your well wishes and the proactive step you’ve taken in booking the first ticket. Love you.”
Since the release of the Jawan preview on Monday, it has become the talk of the town. Fans showered the preview with adoration, and Salman took to Twitter the following day to praise it. Outstanding trailer absolutely loved it. This is the kind of movie we should only watch in theaters. I, for sure, will be seeing it on the first day. It was an amazing experience. @iamsrk.”
Shah Rukh Khan was not the only one to react to the preview. Atlee, the director of Jawan, retweeted Salman’s post and expressed his gratitude for the love and support.
The preview revealed that Shah Rukh’s character is born in prison and grows up to become an officer. He is shown fighting villains and seeking justice. However, a surprising turn of events unfolds as an elder Shah Rukh gathers a group of women and seizes control of a metro train. This led fans to speculate that Shah Rukh portrays a dual role in the film, playing both a father and his identical son.
Scheduled for a September 7 release, Jawan features the superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role, with acclaimed Tamil director Atlee at the helm. Alongside SRK, the movie also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Sanya Malhotra. Deepika Padukone is seen in a special appearance in the preview.
