Sanas creates upset to move into final of the Vijayendra Memorial Trophy Championship Series U-16 Tennis Tournament
Pune, December 22, 2022: Eighth seed Vishvajeet Sanas upset sixth seeded Advik Natekar 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 to move into the finals of the boys section at the Vijayendra Kulkarni Memorial Championship series Under 16 Tennis Tournament which is organized by Om Dalvi Memorial Trust Under the auspices of MSLTA and AITA and played at Maharashtra Police Tennis Gymkhana, Aundh.
In the finals Sanas will take on third seeded Swaraj Dhamdhere who was a fight before overcoming Tej Oak 7-6(5), 2-6, 6-1.
In the girls section fifth seeded Parthsarathi Munde rallied past Karnataka player Sanskriti Lal 6-4, 6-3 and will take on Devanshee Prabhudesai who got past Akanksha Agnihotri 6-4, 6-1
