Sangvi: Troubled mother kills four-year-old daughter

Sangvi, 27 July 2020: A heartbreaking incident came into light in the Sangvi area today. A woman killed her four-year-old daughter after being fed up of her nagging/troubling.

The incident took place around 11 am on Monday. Police have arrested the woman. Her family members had gone out for performing rituals related to the death of the accused’s mother-in-law. The woman was in the house with her daughter and six months old son.

The girl reportedly was troubling the mother following which she banged her head on a wall. There is also an injury mark with a sharp-edged weapon on the neck of the girl.

Police said that the accused woman is suspected to be mentally unstable. Sangvi police are investigating the incident further.
