Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj’s Palkhi Enters Wakdewadi Amid Devotional Enthusiasm

Wakdewadi, 21 June 2025: The palkhi of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj entered Pune this morning around 2 pm in Kalas near Vishrantwadi, welcomed by an overwhelming wave of devotion and excitement. Thousands of Warkaris chanting “Mauli Mauli” and “Dnyanoba Mauli-Tukaram” accompanied the procession, creating a spiritual atmosphere filled with the sound of tal and mridang.
As the palkhi reached Pune, it was greeted by citizens lining the streets, waving flags and showering flowers. The holy palkhi will halt at Bhawani Peth for its Pune stay. The Warkaris, many of whom have walked long distances from Alandi, were provided with food, shelter, and facilities by local residents, social organizations, and Ganesh mandals.
The entry of the palkhi marks a key moment in the annual wari pilgrimage, symbolizing unity, devotion, and centuries-old tradition.
