The German automaker has already unveiled the Skoda Slavia in a matte edition, further expanding its offerings. The latest addition to the lineup is the Skoda Slavia Elegance Edition, based on the top-of-the-line variant. This edition not only introduces fresh color options but also incorporates several cosmetic enhancements within the cabin. More details regarding the Skoda Slavia Elegance Edition are outlined below.

Priced at Rs 17.52 lakh ex-showroom for the manual transmission and Rs 18.92 lakh ex-showroom for the automatic transmission, the Skoda Slavia Elegance Edition boasts a distinctive exterior with an overall black finish. Cosmetic tweaks include fully blacked-out pillars, a grille, chrome finish, dual-tone alloy wheels, and Elegance Edition badges on the rear fenders. While maintaining a design akin to the existing model, this new edition elevates the premium appeal of the Skoda Slavia.

Internally, the Elegance Edition features special touches such as foot lamps, Elegance Edition badging on headrests, and new leather seats. The cabin retains its overall design, ensuring a seamless blend of sophistication and familiarity. The vehicle inherits its features from the top model, encompassing a digital instrument cluster, a 10-inch touch screen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay connectivity (including wireless Android Auto), cruise control, automatic climate control, a sunroof, and more. The cabin now includes additional amenities like wireless mobile charging and a USB Type-C charging port for rear passengers.

Safety remains a top priority, as the Skoda Slavia holds a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP. It comes equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring, ABS with EBD, hill-hold assist, rear parking sensors with a camera, and ISOFIX child seat anchors. The engine lineup remains unchanged, featuring a 1.2-liter petrol engine generating 115 bhp and a 1.5-liter petrol engine producing 150 bhp. Both engines offer a six-speed manual transmission, with the 1.0-liter turbo petrol variant providing options for a six-speed torque converter gearbox and a 7-speed DCT gearbox.

In the Indian market, the Skoda Slavia competes with models such as the Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Volkswagen Virtus, and Honda City.
