Son cooked chicken on pyre after mother’s death

Jharkhand, January 30, 2021: A shocking incident has come to light in Jharkhand. Here, a mother was killed by her 35-year-old son in Jojogut village of Manoharpur police station area of Chakradharpur West Singhbhum district.

Not only this, after the murder, the mother’s funeral pyre was lit in the courtyard of the house. And much to one’s horror, Pradhan Soy, the murderer, roasted a chicken on the pyre’s fire and ate it.

After this heinous incident, that son remained present in the house. On Saturday morning, he threw his mother’s half-cremated body once again near the stove of the house. After this, his sister Somwari Soy informed the villagers about the incident.

Villagers say that he also killed his father Gopal Soy (65 years old) four years ago. Now he killed his mother Sumi Soy (60 years old). The villagers were aggravated. They tied held Pradhan Soy captive and informed the police and immediate action was taken.
