Soon Homeopathy Treatment To Be Available At Government Hospitals In Maharashtra

Pune, 11th April 2022: As of now only Allopathy and Ayurvedic doctors can be recruited in the government hospitals. But soon the Homoeopathy doctors will also be recruited in government hospitals as the government will start 450 Homoeopathy Out Patients Departments (OPD) in government hospitals in Maharashtra.
Currently, doctors with MD and MBBS degrees and Aayush doctors get a chance to work in government hospitals but there is no scope for Homoeopathy doctors as there is no vacancy for the same. But soon the Homoeopathy doctors will also get the government job.
The state government will start 450 OPDs in all the rural hospitals, districts hospitals and medical colleges in Maharashtra. The patients will get Homoeopathy treatment at government hospitals along with Allopathy and Ayurvedic treatment.
State health minister Rajesh Tope has already given instructions in this regard and a committee has been constituted to make a report on it.
Speaking about this Dr Balkrishna Gaikwad, administrative member of the Maharashtra Council of Homoeopathy, said,” If Homoeopathy OPDs start in government hospitals it will certainly benefit people and also generate employment for the doctors. We are studying it and a report will be submitted to the government within three months.”
