Spicejet Staff’s Negligence At Pune Airport Results In Passenger Missing Her Flight

Pune, 29th November 2022: There have been a lot of instances where passengers had to face difficulties due to the negligence of staff at the airports.


A similar incident happened with Arpit Jain from Pune when one of his relatives had to miss a flight due to the negligence of Spicejet’s staff at the Pune airport. His relative asked for a wheelchair and requested assistance. However, no such assistance was provided for her resulting in her missing the flight.



Arpit Jain twitted regarding the same. He tweeted, “@flyspicejet one of my close relatives today missed their flight because of absolutely no coordination from your staff at the Pune airport. The traveller had requested wheelchair assistance and there was no timely assistance provided.”


He added, “When she reached the counter on an “indigo” wheelchair she was denied boarding saying that the counter was closed. There was approximately an hour left for the flight when this incident happened. I understand issues of time but I don’t understand lack of cooperation in medical cases.”


He continued, “She had no luggage and was travelling alone. Is it too much to ask for during a medical emergency? Absolutely disheartened with such kind of behavior and service.”


Taking the matter into consideration, Spicejet replied to his tweet saying, “Arpit, kindly DM us the PNR so we may look into it.”
