Students Clash During Pakistan-England Match At Punjab College
Punjab, 13th November 2022: Two groups of students clashed at the Lala Lajpat Rai Polytechnic College in Ghal Kalan during the T20 World Cup final between England and Pakistan.
The two groups first scuffled and then kicked and punched. Then, bricks and stones started moving between them. The police had to resort to mild lathi charges to control the situation. Several students have been injured in this incident and have been brought to the civil hospital for treatment.
The final of the T20 World Cup between Pakistan and England was played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday. In this, England won the toss and bowled first. Batting first, Pakistan scored 138 runs losing eight wickets. The England team achieved the target of victory with five wickets remaining. Ben Stokes scored a brilliant unbeaten 52 off 49 balls. The England team has become the T20 World Cup winner for the second time.
