Students To Organize Protest Against Fee Hike By Pune University
Pune, 25th September 2022: A meeting was held regarding fee hikes and student issues at the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). The University Students Sangharsh Samiti had convened a meeting of all like-minded organizations to plan in line with the agitation.
More than 30 representatives of students and various organizations, including the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress, Ukrand, Dalit Panther, NSUI, Republican Yuva Morcha, Lokayat, and Bahujan Vidyarthi Parishad, were present.
On 11th October, there will again be agitation against the fee hike by the university, its adjoining colleges, and research centres. Also, a press conference will be held on 8th October before that. It was informed on the occasion that the agitation will be carried out through the support of the Action Committee and all organisations.
