Suryabharat Group, Mile2 sign MoU for cybersecurity training
Pune, 26th February 2026: In view of the growing threat of cybercrime, Suryadatta’s Suryabharat Group of Industries has signed an academic memorandum of understanding with US-based Mile2 to launch advanced cybersecurity training programmes. The courses will be conducted under the Suryadatta Mission – Cyber for All initiative from the Suryabharat Global Professional Skill Development Corporation, said Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, Founder Chairman of Suryadatta Group, at a press conference.
At the briefing held at PYC Gymkhana, Chordiya, along with Mile2 global head Raymond Friedman (Virtually) and Asia head Arindam Paul, announced the establishment of a specialised training centre focusing on cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. The officials also exchanged the MoU. Among those present were associate Vice-President Snehal Navlakha, CEO Akshit Kushal, MCA Department Director Manisha Kumbhar and Manager (PR) Swapnali Kogje.
Chordiya said that as the use of advanced technologies grows, cybercrime is also rising, making awareness and training essential. He added that a Global Cyber Security Centre of Excellence will be set up at the institution’s Bavdhan campus to provide counselling, guidance and more than 30 courses ranging from basic to advanced levels in cybersecurity and AI-related skills. Students from any academic discipline will be eligible to appear for an entrance test, and successful candidates will receive internship opportunities and placement support.
Friedman noted that with technological progress, cyber fraud and cybercrime cases are increasing significantly worldwide. From school students using mobile devices and the internet to senior citizens, all sections of society are vulnerable, he said, adding that Mile2 conducts specialised cybersecurity training globally in collaboration with local governments, educational institutions and training organisations. In partnership with Suryadatta, we are launching Maharashtra’s first authorised cybersecurity training centre in Pune, he said.
Kumbhar pointed out that there is a substantial demand for skilled cybersecurity professionals across cloud, data and web domains, but the supply of highly trained talent remains limited. She expressed confidence that the new programmes would help bridge this gap.
Paul shared details of Mile2’s expansion in India, stating that the organisation runs 35 courses globally, partners directly with 27 educational institutions in India and operates at 28 locations as a training partner, where 14 types of cybersecurity courses are currently offered.
